Kanthsamy latest update

The shooting of ‘Kanthaswamy’ turned out to be a sensational event with milk leaking from a Neem tree in the shooting spot today (Feb 25).

The shooting was held in Film City from early morning six o clock. When the unit was about to shoot a scene, they saw a wonderful sight in the nearby tree. Milk started to pour from the tree as if there was a spring of milk within the tree.

Hero Vikram, heroine Shriya, director Susi Ganesan, and others were stunned to see the unbelievable scene. The local people, who heard the news, gathered in large numbers and some of them started worshiping the tree treating it as goddess Amman.

The incident and the resultant sensation caused a delay in the shooting, which went on smoothly after a while.

The unit would soon leave to Mexico after taking a few scenes in Chennai. The mega budget film (around 40 crores), produced by Kalaipuli Thanu, is expected to be a summer release.

Kandasamy Movie Inaugral at Devi Theatre-Video

Is it possible not to make the news when you're the talk of the town? That's what the latest Chiyaan-starrer Kandasamy is all about.Vikram and Susi Ganesan have joined hands to produce one of the biggest projects in Kollywood history,financed by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.Kandasamy witnessed a biggest ever launch on Monday, September 17, at the newly renovated Devi theatre. The crème de la crème of Kollywood and Tollywood was invited (the film is going to be a bilingual) for the launch.The invitation card itself cost a whopping Rs 12,000! It will be a 48-page (pictures) invite card, and for the first time in India a mini LCD player is attached with the invite and will show the special trailer of Kandasamy, made for the occasion with voice over by Chiyaan!!

It is well known that Vikram's 'Kandaswamy' had a grand launch. It has become a trend setter of sorts ushering in new standards for film launches in the future. Starting from the invite with in-built LCD screens showing the teaser promo of the movie to adoption of two villages by the producers, it spells innovation in every facet of film making.

The shooting of going on in full swing and the makers seem to be overwhelmed by the launch function response from the fans and viewers that they are currently rethinking about their already planned strategies for the film. This multi crore project is now all set to go even bigger as they felt their original plans were outdone by the expectations the promos created. The ripples were felt by the crew which decided to go in for some tweaking up of scenes to make it live up to people's expectations and even go beyond that.

Kandasamy:Vikram's latest venture

Is there anything that is quite dazzling and dramatic as Kanthasamy's promotional teaser trailer in Kollywood in recent times? Arguably nothing comes close to this.
Kanthsamy, produced by Kalaipuli Thanu, directed by Susi Ganesan and featuring Vikram and Shriya in the leads, is set to roll on only from 23 Spetyember.
But already it is the talk of the town, thanks in the main to the grandiose ideas of the director and the producer who is ready to shell out any amount of money to get the desired glitz and gloss.



The film's invite, in the form of an intricate and elaborate album, is spectacular. A special LCD player playing the film's trailer is also part of the invite.
Each invite costs around Rs.15,000.The special promo trailer is outstanding with Vikram and Shriya is spectacular outfits and backgrounds. In terms of effect, it is as good as any film. Ekambaram's camera and Devi Sri Prasad's music is certainly superb.Vikram in various make up looks amazing and seems to have reached a new level of professionalism. His effort to look the part confirms his sincerity and talent. Shriya looks positively sizzling.


Now if the promo itself is so special, then what would the real film be like? Well, we can't control our curiosity.
